I spent many years working in a range of management roles which included Operations, Sales & Marketing and Business Development before embarking on an MBA at Henley Management College (now Henley Business School).
After graduating I was involved in a British Government sponsored project to teach management and marketing skills in the Eastern Bloc and on returning to this country I moved into management development, training and consultancy.
The business grew quickly and successfully and I have found myself teaching on a number of management courses (MBA, MSc, MA) and also a number of Certificate and Diploma Programmes for the Chartered Management Institute, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
Additionally I wrote and developed course materials both for the classroom and also to be delivered in an eLearning format. I took the opportunity to go back to University to study for a Certificate in e-Learning, Training and Teaching at the University of Greenwich. This provided a level of interest and competence in the subject that has enabled me to reflect on and re-consider my own ideas about eLearning. That lead to an eLearning project that I was working on to win an award at the World of Learning in 2007.
Recently I started my doctoral studies and I am researching for a Doctorate in Business Administration. Taking some time our of my DBA Studies to complete a Certificate in Coaching at Henley Business School.
I also studied and became a Certified NLP Practitioner and a Certified NLP Coach. I work as a freelance Lecturer, Consultant, Writer and Executive Coach.
